We are seeking a Machine Operator to support production operations in a manufacturing environment. This role requires individuals who are mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and experienced working with production machinery. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of machine operating experience and be comfortable with machine setups, adjustments, quality checks, and documentation.

✅ Responsibilities

• Perform machine setups and adjustments

• Conduct cold starts, quality adjustments, head cleaning, and knife setups

• Monitor machine performance and product quality throughout production

• Complete work orders, inspection logs, and quality documentation

• Assist with basic preventative maintenance and minor repairs

• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area

• Support production goals while ensuring quality standards are met

🎯 Qualifications

• 2-4 years of machine operating experience required

• Manufacturing experience required

• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability

• Knowledge of production machinery, controls, and safety procedures

• Experience processing parts and preparing work orders

• Experience with inspection logs and quality documentation

• Familiarity with preventative maintenance and basic machine repairs

• Strong attention to detail and reliability

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saddle Brook, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
