Immediate Openings | Contract-to-Hire Opportunity

We are seeking experienced Aircraft Mechanics (A&P) to perform line maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial aircraft. This role is ideal for mechanics with airline line maintenance experience who thrive in a fast-paced airport environment and are committed to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications on aircraft airframes and powerplants.

  • Diagnose and correct mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system issues.

  • Inspect engines, landing gear, brakes, instruments, air conditioning systems, and other aircraft components.

  • Remove, replace, and test aircraft parts to ensure proper functionality.

  • Read and interpret maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical data.

  • Complete accurate maintenance documentation, work orders, and FAA-required records.

  • Perform sheet metal and composite repairs as needed.

  • Safely operate maintenance equipment, power tools, and support vehicles.

  • Work closely with flight crews and fellow technicians to maintain on-time operations.

Qualifications

  • Active FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License required.

  • Minimum 3 years of airline line maintenance experience .

  • Strong troubleshooting, inspection, and repair experience on commercial aircraft.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings.

  • Familiarity with FAA regulations and maintenance documentation requirements.

  • Proficient with maintenance-related computer systems and software.

  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate support vehicles.

  • Willingness to work flexible schedules, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience on Airbus A319/A320/A321, Boeing 737, and/or Embraer E175/E190 aircraft .

  • Previous experience in a commercial airline or airport maintenance environment.

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

  • Ability to participate in an on-call rotation following direct hire.

Work Environment

This position is based at a commercial airport supporting airline line maintenance operations. Technicians work in both hangar and outdoor ramp environments and must be comfortable working in varying weather conditions. Flexible scheduling is required, including shift changes, overtime, weekends, and on-call support as operational needs demand.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Palm Springs, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
