Overview:

RN Manager ICU Full-Time, Day Shift

The Manager, Nursing and Patient Care Services supervises staff, provides clinical and technical expertise and engages in process improvements. Assists in the fiscal budgeting and management process for the department including billing and revenue management, payroll, purchasing and supply cost management. Performs work assignments as needed to provide coverage and to mentor or assist staff. Interviews, hires and develops team members with the goal of developing a highly effective work team. Engages in talent retention strategies for the area(s) of responsibility. Must possess a strong clinical care knowledge base in area of expertise. Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire.

Education

  • Bachelor's Level Degree in Nursing (Required)

Certification/Licensure

  • VA RN License (Required)

Experience

  • 3 years of RN experience (Required)

  • 3 years of HC Management experience (Required)

  • ICU Experience (Strongly Preferred)
