Our client, a leading industrial automation and manufacturing solutions company, is seeking a Controls Engineer to join their team. As a Controls Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the Automation, Controls, and Operations teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Controls Engineer

Location: Warren, MI

Pay Range: $43 H/r - $51 H/r

What’s the Job?

  • Develop and maintain SCADA/HMI applications using Ignition platforms.

  • Design, program, and troubleshoot industrial control systems and automation solutions.

  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support system integration projects.

  • Perform testing, commissioning, and startup activities for control systems.

  • Provide technical support and continuous improvement recommendations for existing automation systems.

What’s Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field.

  • Strong experience with SCADA/HMI development using Ignition.

  • Experience with PLC programming and industrial automation systems.

  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols and system integration.

  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and project coordination skills.
