Full job description

Shift: 9:30 PM-6:00 AM

Hourly Rate: $25.00 an hour + $1.00 shift differential

Reporting to the Production Team Leader, you will support manufacturing operations by operating and monitoring mixing equipment to ensure product is produced safely, accurately, and on schedule at the Kent, Washington facility. This role involves a physically demanding production environment, including repetitive handling and lifting of 50‑pound ingredient bags approximately every 15 to 30 minutes as part of normal operations.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

  • Operate mixing equipment in accordance with production schedules and established procedures.
  • Measure, stage, and add ingredients according to production formulas and work instructions.
  • Monitor mixing processes and make adjustments within defined parameters to maintain product quality.
  • Enter production, batch, and quality data into computer systems and complete required documentation accurately.
  • Perform routine cleaning, sanitation, and basic preventive maintenance of mixing equipment.
  • Follow all food safety, Good Manufacturing Practices, and personal protective equipment requirements.
  • Communicate process issues, quality concerns, or equipment problems to the Production Team Leader.
  • Work scheduled overtime and weekends as required to meet production demands.

Ingredients Required for Your Success

  • Manufacturing or production experience in an industrial or food production environment.
  • Experience following written instructions, recipes, or standard operating procedures.
  • Comfort working in a fast‑paced, team‑based environment.
  • Willingness to work onsite and adhere to established schedules, including overtime and weekends.
  • High school diploma or GED.
