The Leonardo DRS Naval Electronics business provides leading naval computing infrastructure, network and data distribution and middleware enterprise services, as well as world-class manufacturing and support capabilities.

Job Summary

We're looking to add a Pricing Analyst to our Naval Electronics team!

This position can be based out of one of the following locations (hybrid schedule eligible / routine onsite requirements apply):

  • Computing and Networks Center of Excellence - Johnstown, PA

  • Sensors Center of Excellence - Largo, FL

  • Submarine Combat Systems Center of Excellence - Twin Cities, MN

The Pricing Analyst I supports the development of competitive and compliant cost models and financial proposals for U.S. Federal Government solicitations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop, evaluate and implement pricing strategies and models based upon current business and competitive market dynamics

  • Conduct research and perform competitive pricing analysis

  • Monitor ongoing competitive environment to ensure practices do not adversely impact company reputation or customer satisfaction

  • Partner with Sales/Marketing, Business Development and Finance to correctly position product portfolio and establish pricing programs aligned with product/sales strategy and revenue recognition requirements

  • Provide support for all cost and price reviews, prepare relevant documentation for contract negotiations, and ensure full compliance during internal and external audits

  • Support proposal team in developing detailed cost breakdowns and establish estimating assumptions, rationale, and the overall Basis of Estimate (BOE) to support FAR Table 15-2 compliant proposals

  • Create/administer pricing databases and coordinate implementation of pricing proposals across the organization

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial,) Supply Chain, or other related field with 5+ years of directly related experience (preferably in a government contracting environment)

  • Or equivalent combination of education/training and experience

The salary range for this position is ($67,000/year- $95,000/year). This range reflects the good faith estimate of pay the employer is willing to offer at the time of posting. Several factors can influence the pay scale, including but not limited to: Federal contract labor categories and contract wage rates, collective bargaining agreements, geographic location, business considerations, scope, and responsibilities of the position, local or other applicable market conditions, and internal equity. Other factors include the candidate’s qualifications such as prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education/training, and certifications. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for: annual performance-based bonuses, equity awards, and overtime pay (for non-exempt employees as applicable.
