Skills and Competencies
- 10+ years of sales and relationship management experience, preferably within the financial services sector
- Experience working within or selling into financial institutions, payments organizations, and/or financial technology companies
- Solid understanding of the banking and payments industries, including key market participants, trends, and competitive dynamics
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and influencing senior decision-makers through consultative selling approaches
- Ability to manage complex sales cycles, identify new business opportunities, and develop strategic account plans that drive revenue growth
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, networking, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
- Data, Know Your Customer, financial crime compliance, or regulatory technology sales experience preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency. - Develop and execute commercial account strategies and business plans while providing accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reporting to management
- Maintain expertise in industry trends across payments, risk management, climate and environmental, social and governance risk, cybersecurity, Know Your Customer, financial crime compliance, finance, and regulatory compliance
- Build trusted advisor relationships with senior client stakeholders, including Chief Risk Officers, Chief Financial Officers, Chief Operating Officers, Chief Compliance Officers, Chief Data Officers, and Chief Technology or Information Officers
- Conduct a high volume of in-person client meetings and represent the organization at industry conferences, forums, and networking events
- Generate, qualify, and convert new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and targeted campaigns while expanding existing client relationships through cross-selling activities
- Identify client challenges and translate business needs into compelling solutions that deliver measurable value and business outcomes
- Manage complex sales cycles through effective collaboration with product specialists, sales teams, management, and cross-functional partners across regions
- Execute negotiations and closing strategies that successfully convert opportunities into long-term client partnerships while identifying referral opportunities across the broader business About the Team Our Strategic Accounts team is responsible for managing and growing relationships with some of the organization's largest and most strategic global clients. The team drives revenue growth across a broad suite of analytics, risk, compliance, and business intelligence solutions by partnering closely with clients to address complex business challenges. By joining the team, you will collaborate with colleagues across regions, contribute to the expansion of strategic customer relationships, and support the adoption of innovative technologies, including artificial intelligence-enabled solutions, that enhance client outcomes and business performance. For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $135,700.00 - $196,750.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
