Description
Help Keep Cash Flow Moving for a Growing Manufacturing Business
A growing manufacturing and distribution company in Vista is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage customer accounts, cash application, billing, and collections support. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys combining accounting with customer communication. You'll work with Sales, Customer Service, and Accounting to resolve account issues and make sure payments are applied accurately and on time.
Responsibilities

Generate and distribute customer invoices
-
Post and apply daily customer payments
-
Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies
-
Monitor aging reports and identify past-due balances
-
Contact customers regarding outstanding invoices
-
Research short pays, deductions, credits, and unapplied cash
-
Process account adjustments and credit memos
-
Maintain accurate customer account records
-
Partner with Sales and Customer Service to resolve billing issues

Prepare weekly AR and aging reports
-
Assist with month-end close and account reconciliations
Requirements
-
2–4 years of Accounts Receivable experience
-
Experience with cash application and customer account reconciliation
-
Strong Excel skills
-
ERP experience preferred
-
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
-
Strong follow-up and problem-solving skills
-
Manufacturing, distribution, or wholesale experience is a plus
