About the Firm

A growing boutique litigation firm in Newport Beach is seeking a Business/Employment Litigation Attorney to join its team. The firm represents businesses, employers, property owners, developers, and high-net-worth individuals in complex civil disputes and offers attorneys the opportunity to take ownership of cases while working directly with clients and experienced litigators.

The firm specializes in a range of practice areas including:

• Business and commercial litigation

• Employment litigation and class actions

• Breach of contract disputes

Attorney Responsibilities

• Draft motions, pleadings, discovery, correspondence, and other legal documents

• Manage cases from inception through trial

• Take and defend depositions

• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts

• Assist with case strategy, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation

Ideal Backgrounds

Employment Class Action Attorney

• 3+ years of employment class action experience

• Ability to manage matters from inception through settlement, including court approval processes

Business/Commercial Litigation Attorney

• 2+ years of business, commercial, or employment litigation experience

• Experience handling complex discovery and high-exposure matters

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $125,000-$200,000 DOE

• Discretionary bonuses throughout the year and at year-end

• Medical benefits (HMO and PPO options)

• 2+ years of civil litigation experience

• Strong law and motion experience

• Deposition experience preferred
