Job Description:

AHMG Radiology

301 Memorial Medical Parkway, Daytona Beach, FL

Monday - Wednesday 7am - 4:30pm / Friday 7am - 4:30pm

  • Creates, distributes, and coordinates daily procedure schedules with Radiologists.

  • Assists Radiologists with inpatient and outpatient consultations and minimally invasive imaging-based procedures.

  • Coordinates with multiple departments to ensure timely performance of procedures and follows up on incomplete or incorrect exams.

  • Provides necessary education to patients, family, and medical staff about exams and procedures, addressing patient needs and anxieties.

  • Assists Radiologists in providing timely results to ancillary departments and physician offices, facilitating physician-to-physician communication.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge and skill with sterile technique. [Required]

  • Knowledge of interventional procedures. [Required]

  • Demonstrates calm, professional, and effective listening and speaking skills, and applies nonverbal communication techniques as appropriate during all communication. [Required]

  • Proficiency in multi-tasking by monitoring worklists, handling multiple phone lines. [Required]

  • Demonstrates a willingness to learn/adapt to new technologies and protocols and help develop the knowledge and competency of coworkers and Radiology team members. [Required] Education:

  • Associate [Preferred]

  • Bachelor's [Preferred]

  • High School Grad or Equiv [Required] Field of Study:

  • in Radiologic Science Work Experience:

  • 3+ experience assisting with image-based procedures. [Preferred] Additional Information:

  • Current valid license as a General Radiographer or Sonographer Upon Hire Required

  • Advanced modality certification (CT, MRI, NM, MG) Upon Hire Preferred Licenses and Certifications:

  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) [Required] AND

  • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required] AND

  • Registered Technologist – Radiography (RT(R) (ARRT)) [Required] OR

  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) [Required] OR

Pay Range:

$23.71 - $44.09 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
