Full job description
Description We are looking for a Social Media Coordinator to support the planning, creation, and execution of engaging digital content for a growing brand presence in Port Washington, New York. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who understands platform-specific best practices, enjoys tracking emerging trends, and can help turn campaign goals into compelling social media activity. The person in this role will contribute to day-to-day channel management, creative coordination, and performance-focused social media initiatives across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities:

Develop and schedule original social media content that aligns with brand messaging, campaign priorities, and audience interests.

Manage daily activity across social platforms by publishing posts, monitoring engagement, and helping maintain a consistent brand voice.

Assist with the execution of paid and organic social media campaigns designed to increase reach, engagement, and audience growth.

Use social media tools to organize content calendars, track post performance, and support efficient campaign delivery.

Monitor social media trends, platform updates, and competitor activity to recommend timely content ideas and channel improvements.

Create visually appealing social assets using Canva and coordinate creative materials that support ongoing campaigns.

Review campaign and content results to identify insights, measure effectiveness, and suggest optimization opportunities.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure social initiatives support broader marketing objectives and promotional timelines. Requirements • Experience supporting social media content development and day-to-day platform management.

Working knowledge of major social media channels, including best practices for audience engagement and content publishing.

Familiarity with social media tools used for scheduling, monitoring, reporting, and campaign coordination.

Understanding of social media trends and the ability to apply timely insights to content planning.

Exposure to social media campaigns and social media advertising concepts, including performance-driven content execution.

Proficiency with Canva for creating branded graphics and visual social content.
