Position Summary:

Develops, modifies, applies, and maintains quality standards and evaluation methods for products and processes. Ensure the organization complies with applicable company and customer requirements including AS9100 and FAA standards as established in AA TECH’s Quality Management System. Provides basic statistical information for quality improvement by determining and applying testing methods and criteria. The Quality Engineer PB2 will provide front line support to operations in resolving quality issues within the value streams. Coordinates and guides technical evaluations, analysis, and related data acquisition processes to ensure quality objectives are achieved.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Technical Degree) or Associate’s Degree & 0-10 + years of consecutive experience in a quality role in a manufacturing environment setting.

  • Team player

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written

  • Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings, including Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing

(GD&T)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office applications

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities within a teamwork setting

Desired Qualifications:

  • Six Sigma Green Belt

  • CQA/CQE certification

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

  • Knowledge of aerospace industry or similar industry products and legal and related

regulatory requirements (APQP/PPAP, FAA, AS9100, AS9102, AS13100, etc.)
