Important skills include Quality Management System Implementation, WCM Methodologies, Risk Analysis, LEAN Manufacturing Concepts, Project Management, and Communication. Preferred (not required): ISO9001 and AS9100.

Full job description
The Quality and Process Control Manager located in Ravenna, Ohio will be accountable to ensure the Quality Management System (QMS) is implemented per requirements and to report areas of concern to Management.
The Quality & Process Control Manager will be expected to ensure the plant remains in full compliance with regulatory and ISO requirements as they pertain to the plant, customer specifications, and corporate quality policies.
Quality & Process Control Manager will also be responsible for identification and implementation of projects to reduce waste and improvement processes through WCM methodologies.
Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations or equivalent

ASQ certification (preferred)
-
5+ years experience as part of a quality organization in a highly regulated industry (preferably aerospace)

3+ years experience managing, growing & developing direct reports
-
3+ years experience managing continuous improvement program
-
Strong knowledge of quality standards ISO9001 (preferred) and/or AS9100 (preferred)

Experience performing risk analysis

Demonstrated understanding of LEAN manufacturing concepts

Strong project management skills
-
Demonstrated ability to communicate in numerous mediums (written, verbal, presentations, etc.)

Strong computer skills (MS Office, ERP, ETQ)
