Job Duties
Express Employment Professionals in Woodbury is seeking a Shipping & Inventory Associate for a great company in the East Metro!!
Pay: $18-21 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm, 5 days per week
Location: Vadnais Heights
Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions of an Shipping & Inventory Associate:

Assist in effectively organizing the warehouse and enforcing procedures, inventory documents and inventory control training material.

Pull inventory to fill customer sales orders, work orders and I.T’s.

Ensure timely delivery of system parts to internal customers.
-
Coordinate the receipt and storage of product as it is moved through inventory.
-
Perform cycle count and maintain inventory accuracy.
-
Provide input on inventory storage requirements.

Work closely with the planner on stock level of parts to assure production schedules are supported by the materials department.

Provide assistance to other material functions as requested. Serves as back-up for shipping department.
Job Specifications for the Shipping & Inventory Associate:
-
Minimum 2-year electronics degree or equivalent with minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing and inventory control.

Ability to effectively communicate in English. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-
Strong problem solving, attention to detail and troubleshooting skills.
Working Conditions or Physical Requirements of the Shipping & Inventory Associate:
- Will be required to regularly stand for extended periods of time; use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, talk, hear, and see.
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or reach with hands and arms. Requires repetitive motion and manual dexterity.
The environment is fast paced; time pressured and requires accuracy.
Will be required to regularly multi-task between projects, move throughout the office building and effectively communicate.
The normal production environment can be louder due to equipment running.
