Human Resources - Benefits & Leave Specialist
The Biddeford, Dayton, and Saco School Departments, along with the Southern Maine Administrative Collaborative, are seeking a Human ResourceSpecialist with a focus on Benefits and Leave Administration to join our Human Resources team.
This year-round position reports to the Director of Human Resources and is responsible for administering employee benefits and leave programs, including FMLA, Maine Paid Family Medical Leave, ADA accommodations, Workers' Compensation, COBRA, retirement benefits, and employee insurance programs.
Essential Functions
The ideal candidate will have experience with:

Employee benefits administration
-
FMLA, Maine Paid Family Medical Leave, and ADA leave management
-
Workers' Compensation and return-to-work coordination
-
Open enrollment and benefit eligibility
-
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
-
Bachelor's degree [or equivalent experience].

SHRM or PHR Professional Human Resource Certification preferred.

Minimum of five (5) years human resource-related experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience is desirable.

Current State of Maine Criminal History Records Check approval or ability to obtain.

Compensation:
Based on education and experience
Salary Range: $40,000 - $60,000
FLSA Status: Exempt. Salaried position, year-round.
