Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Water/Wastewater Treatment System Operator to support the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial water and wastewater treatment systems. This individual will be responsible for monitoring treatment processes, responding to system alarms, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently. Daily responsibilities include performing inspections, documenting operational data, and maintaining regulatory compliance records. The operator will conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on pumps, motors, valves, instrumentation, and other treatment equipment. This role requires troubleshooting PLC-controlled systems and working from technical drawings, schematics, and engineering documents. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with water or wastewater treatment processes and a strong commitment to safety standards. Candidates should be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in physically demanding environments and participating in on-call or rotating schedules as needed. Skills and Requirements

3+ year of water or wastewater treatment experience

Experience with treatment system operations and maintenance.

Ability to read schematics and technical drawings.

Knowledge of regulatory compliance and safety standards.

Valid driver's license and authorization to work in the U.S.

High school diploma or equivalent. - RO systems, reverse osmosis

Valid Water/Wastewater Operator License.

SCADA experience. (control system for industrial processes)

Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

Experience with ion exchange, filtration, or similar treatment technologies.

OSHA 10, OSHA 40, Lockout/Tagout, or Confined Space certifications.

Technical or vocational training.

Preventative maintenance and instrumentation calibration experience.
-PLC troubleshooting experience (Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc.). (PLC = Small Computer)
