About the Opportunity:
JOB
PURPOSE:
Prepare and install upholstery materials, including wood, foam and material.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Layout and cut materials; operate cutting machine
Stage materials for jobs per work order
Use oven to prepare vinyl prior to stapling
Staple vinyl to pad using staple gun
Assemble pieces following established procedures; attach backing and punch holes
Batch finished pads by work order and place in appropriate area
Box pads as needed
Make labels using computer and label maker
Check work for quality
Operate vinyl picker and pallet jack
NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to operate staple gun, heat gun, vinyl cutter and hand tools (razor, wire cutter, staple remover)
Ability to operate computer in order to run label maker
Ability to effectively communicate in English (read and understand)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Lift up to 5 lbs frequently, 20 lbs occasionally and 40 lbs rarely
Walk, stand, bend, twist/turn, reach overhead and grasp tools as necessary
Operate vinyl picker and pallet jack

At Life Fitness / Hammer Strength, we believe in taking care of our team with a comprehensive total rewards package that includes competitive pay and a range of valuable benefits. Your base wage will be between $20.00 - $22.75 per hour and includes eligibility for overtime. The actual wage offer will be based on qualifications, experience, location, and other relevant factors. You'll have the opportunity to participate in the Production Bonus Plan, which provides opportunities to earn additional compensation based on performance metrics. Bonus eligibility is subject to meeting certain production goals and other criteria as outlined.This position is eligible for a $2.00 per hour shift differential for hours worked on 2nd shift, in addition to the base hourly wage.
