Description: Schedule: 24 hours per week, Days
- Week 1: 6:45-3:15 Sunday, 6:45-3:15 Thursday, 9a-5:30p Friday Week 2: 6:45-3:15 Monday, 9a-5:30p Thursday, 9a-5:30p Friday Week 3: 6:45-3:15 Monday, 9a-5:30p Thursday, 9a-5:30p Friday Week 4: 9-5:30 Monday, 9a-5:30p Friday, 6:45-3:15 Saturday
- Training: The first two weeks of training are M-F, 8a-430pm must be able to attend this*

What you will do:
- Provide patient focused customer service.
- Perform outpatient & / or inpatient registration & insurance verification functions;
- Collect patient financial liability payments & ensures that patients meet financial requirements including Medicare medical necessity, payer pre-certifications & referrals.
- Provide general information to hospital users, patients, families & physician offices
What you will need:
- 1 year customer service experience, required
- HS Diploma or equivalent required
- Data entry skills (50 to 60 keystrokes per minute)
- Basic computer skills
- HFMA CRCR or NAHAM CHAA required within one (1) year of hire.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Interpersonal skills to work with internal and external customers.
- Accuracy and attentiveness to detail and time management skills.
Nice to have:
- Medical terminology
- Knowledge of diagnostic & procedural coding Insurance verification with the ability to explain benefits, secure necessary authorizations
