Job Title: Warehouse Worker Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker who is open to becoming Forklift Certified. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining efficient operations within our warehouse, ensuring the safe and timely movement of products.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and trailers efficiently.

• Move inventory throughout the warehouse in a timely manner.

• Pick and put away products accurately.

• Safely stack pallets in designated racks.

• Perform basic equipment inspections before use to ensure safety.

• Adhere to warehouse safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.

• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) or barcode scanners to track and manage inventory.

Essential Skills

• Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial trucks.

• Forklift certification, or willingness to become certified.

• Ability to lift heavy items and stand for long periods.

• Attention to safety and accuracy in all tasks.

• Basic computer or scanner skills for inventory tracking.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Good communication skills to follow instructions and safety procedures.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Union City, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.50/hr.
