Aircraft Technician
Marana, AZ
Up to $45/hr, Per Diem Available for Eligible Candidates
Contract-to-Hire Opportunity
Open to any airframe experience with A or/and P license

Seeking skilled Aircraft Technicians to support heavy maintenance, repair, modification, and inspection activities on commercial aircraft in a large MRO environment. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of narrow-body and wide-body aircraft while performing maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and company procedures.
Commercial aircraft experience is preferred but not required. Candidates with military aviation or other fixed-wing maintenance backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities

Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance, inspections, repairs, and modifications.

Remove, install, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft systems and components.

Conduct structural repairs on fuselage, wings, flight controls, and related assemblies.

Inspect, repair, and replace hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
-
Read and interpret maintenance manuals, engineering drawings, and technical data.

Complete maintenance documentation accurately and in compliance with FAA requirements.

Support heavy maintenance and overhaul projects on commercial aircraft.

Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Required

FAA Airframe and/ or Powerplant (A&P) License
-
3+ years of aircraft maintenance experience

Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and technical documentation

Strong troubleshooting and repair skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced maintenance environment
Preferred (Not Required)

Commercial aircraft maintenance experience

Heavy maintenance or MRO experience

Experience working on Boeing or Airbus aircraft

Wide-body aircraft maintenance experience

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marana, AZ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $39.12 - $45.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
