Description
About Upway
At Upway, we’re building the world’s leading refurbisher and marketplace for e-bikes. We operate across 9 countries, with our own logistics and refurbishment centers in Los Angeles, New York, Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, Düsseldorf, Stuttgart and Antwerp.
We source high-quality e-bikes, professionally refurbish them and put them back on the road — combining premium quality, affordability and sustainability. We’ve already brought more than 100,000 e-bikes back to life, and we’re just getting started.
As Enterprise Partnerships Manager DACH (f/m/d), you will own Upway’s leasing vertical across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. DACH is a key growth region for Upway, and leasing is one of our most important supply channels. You’ll build strategic partnerships, negotiate long-term agreements and drive strong commercial performance while continuously raising standards and improving how we operate. Start date: January 1, 2027.
Your responsibilities
• Lead the Leasing Vertical: Own the DACH strategy, growth and commercial performance.
• Build Strategic Partnerships: Develop long-term relationships with key leasing partners and negotiate strategic contracts and commercial terms.
• Set High Standards: Build strong partner relationships while consistently pushing for high standards in quality, service and execution.
• Drive Commercial Performance: Optimize purchasing, sell-through and profitability across the leasing portfolio.
• Drive Process Excellence: Identify gaps and improve key mechanisms across the leasing journey, including invoicing, data, logistics and warehouse processes.
• AI & Automation: Identify and implement AI and automation opportunities to make the leasing operation more efficient and scalable.
What we are looking for:
• 2–7 years of experience in strategic account management, business development, purchasing, partnerships or a similar commercial role.
-
Experience managing strategic or enterprise partnerships, ideally in leasing, mobility, automotive, bicycles, retail or a related industry.
-
A strong commercial and analytical mindset, with a focus on profitable growth, not just volume.
-
Proven ability to build long-term relationships and negotiate complex commercial agreements.
-
High standards and a strong ownership mentality — you take responsibility for outcomes and are comfortable challenging the status quo.
-
A process-driven mindset with the ability to identify gaps, structure solutions and drive improvements.
-
Strong analytical and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
-
Excellent communication skills in German and English.
