  • Job Summary :

  • Functions as Obstetrical Technician, performing nursing assistant duties as well as Scrub role in the Operating Room.

  • Education :

  • Position requires a high school diploma or GED or 0- 6 months equivalent combination of education and experience in related area.

  • Registration/Certification/Licensure :

  • Maryland CNA license required.

  • Experience :

  • Position requires minimum of one year direct experience in OR scrub role as well as nursing assistant duties in Labor/Delivery, Post Partum and Newborn Nursery.

  • Other Requirements :

  • C.N.A. through Maryland State Board of Nursing. CPR required within 30 days of hire.

  • Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and/or any other department requirements.
