Full job description
What We Offer
Responsible for scheduling of all procedures, registration activities, gathering and processing of patient demographic and insurance information. Responsible for securing complete and authenticated signed orders for scheduled procedures.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8AM until 4:30PM
What You'll Do

Accurately collect, verify, and enter patient demographic, insurance, and financial information.

Schedule appointments, procedures, referrals, and coordinate care across providers and departments.

Obtain insurance authorizations, referrals, and pre-certifications as required.

Communicate insurance benefits, financial responsibilities, and billing information to patients.

Assist patients with scheduling questions, insurance concerns, and care coordination needs.

Collaborate with providers, referral sources, insurance carriers, and Patient Financial Services to ensure seamless patient care.

Maintain compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and patient confidentiality standards.

Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while providing outstanding customer service.

Support continuous process improvement through ongoing training and professional development.
What We're Looking For
Education: High School or GED required.
Experience: (required) Minimum one year experience in scheduling, patient access, registration, billing, cash collections, insurance and/or pre-certification, or related experience in a medical environment.
Additional Skills/Requirements (required): Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, experience and competency in customer relation skills in a professional environment. Ability to organize and prioritize work in a stressful environment. Ability to work effectively as a member of a team and is self-directed. Good problem solving skills. Basic medical terminology. Exemplary keyboarding skills and experience in patient registration systems and familiarity with personal computers. Basic knowledge of hospital performed procedures.
