We're Hiring: Facilities Maintenance Technician (T2)

Location: Taylor, TX | Compal Manufacturing Facility

Hours: 8a-5p Monday- Friday

Compensation: starting at $26/hr

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on facility systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, and more).

  • Take on troubleshooting tasks and support repairs under the mentorship of senior techs.

  • Respond quickly to work orders and facility requests—your agility keeps us running!

  • Conduct basic building inspections and assist with workspace setups and moves.

  • Keep accurate maintenance logs and contribute to our continuous improvement culture.

  • Champion safety and compliance with every task.

What We’re Looking For:

  • High school diploma or GED (technical training/certification a plus!)

  • 2+ years’ experience in facilities maintenance, building ops, or similar field

  • Basic knowledge of systems like HVAC, plumbing, and electrical

  • Comfortable using hand & power tools

  • Sharp attention to detail, eagerness to learn, and a team player!

Even Better If You Have:

  • Experience in a manufacturing or technical facility

  • Familiarity with CMMS/maintenance tracking

  • Knowledge of BAS/BMS systems

  • OSHA training or relevant certifications

Work Environment & Schedule:

  • Austin-based manufacturing facility—be ready for hands-on, active work!

  • Lifting, ladder climbing, and standing may be required.

  • Occasional shift or on-call support for critical needs.
