About the Team As a potential job applicant considering a role at Nutanix, you would be joining the Services Delivery team as part of a global organisation. You would be delivering cutting-edge day-one IT virtualisation consulting services and day-two IT virtualisation operations support. The team culture is focused on providing value that exceeds customer expectations and aims to shorten the return on investment for Nutanix’s clients. You will be able to work with a talented and dedicated team that collaborates closely to achieve common goals. You will report to the Senior Manager of Professional Services and work in a hybrid Services delivery model, where you are required to be in the office 2-3 days per week when not working at a customer site. This arrangement allows for a balance between collaborative in-person work and the flexibility to work remotely. Additionally, the role may require 20-40% travel, including visits to domestic client sites. There may also be exciting opportunities to travel overseas for internal team events or training sessions, providing a global perspective and fostering cross-cultural collaboration within the organization.

Your Role

• Participate in service delivery and working with a customer's IT team (both onsite and remote) and be recognised as a leading member for Nutanix product implementation, operation, and administration.

• Clarify and comprehend the customer's short—and long-term IT objectives or OLA and align yourself with your day-to-day activities.

• Leveraging extensive knowledge of Nutanix products and features to assist customers in planning strategic implementations and/or operations support for their Nutanix environment.

• Be responsible for delivering Nutanix Implementations and/or Virtual Infra operations support.

• Leverage Nutanix IP by working collaboratively with architects/SMEs to blend Nutanix best practices to accelerate the adoption and expansion of their Nutanix environment.

• Be proactive and actively assume, assess, and identify possible areas of improvement in the customer's IT environment.

• Collaborates with the Nutanix Sales Team in identifying and communicating new opportunities and ongoing customer status and reporting.

• Participation in practice development and soft and technical skill development is required to keep up with the rapidly growing industry.

• Based on your management's direction, part of your workload may cover related Nutanix service offerings or spot engagements within Services Consulting or Residency.

What You Will Bring

• Sound experience of 10+ years in system administration and virtualization technologies

• Excellent knowledge of Nutanix AOS/AHV and/or Hyper-V / VMware ESXi or other converged or hyperconverged platforms.

• Able to independently analyse and diagnose highly complex problems across different platforms.

• Customer centric approach, excellent communication skills

• High level of comfort performing white boarding sessions, group presentations, and other customer centric documentation

• Migration of workload, both P2V and V2V.

• Understanding of storage technologies and data protection technologies like replication, snapshots, backup, restore, etc.

• Exposure to Automation and scripting is preferred. Python/PowerShell scripting to automate tasks (Desirable)

• Mandatory Certification:

VMware certification such as VCP or VCAP OR Nutanix Certified Professional – Multi-cloud Infrastructu

• Desired Certification:

• Nutanix Certified Professional – Multi-cloud Automation - We can enable the candidate on this skillset, but he/she should be open to learn this

• Nutanix Certified Master – Multi-cloud Infrastructure - We can enable the candidate, and have him/her take up the certification
