Job Summary and Qualifications

The Administrative Supervisor is responsible for the clinical operational and administrative oversight for all departments in the absence of the Managers and Directors.

Essential Accountabilities:

  • Coordinates Patient Placement

  • Serves as administrative Liaison

  • Responsible for Staffing

  • Other Duties as assigned.

  • Demonstrates leadership through supervision, facilitation and coordination of clinical care.

  • Assists with the coordination of management activities and serves as administrative support to Nurse Manager and Nurse Director.

  • Participates as a member of the care team to achieve business goals.

What qualifications you will need:

Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

Preferred Education: Master’s Degree

Required License: Must have and maintain current license as a registered nurse in North Carolina or one of the compact states as defined by North Carolina Board of Nursing, and must have and maintain current BCLS. In Member hospitals, certification in ACLS and/or PALS may be required.

Preferred Certifications: Specialty Certification in Leadership from National Organization

Required Experience: Minimum of 5 years nursing experience with 2 years of supervisory or management experience

Preferred Experience: Critical Care nursing experience
