Technical Sales Support Specialist / Account Manager Pittsburgh, PA | 100% Onsite

Our client, a well-established manufacturer serving the aerospace & defense, energy, lighting, and industrial markets, is seeking a Technical Sales Support Specialist / Account Manager to join their close-knit team in Pittsburgh, PA.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working directly with customers, solving problems, learning technical products, and building long-term relationships. You'll support a small portfolio of established accounts and receive extensive training while partnering closely with engineering, operations, and production teams to deliver highly customized products to customers across the country.

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of established customer accounts.
  • Provide technical sales support and customer service throughout the sales and order process.
  • Manage customer orders and projects from initial inquiry through production and delivery.
  • Build strong, long-term customer relationships and ensure an exceptional customer experience.
  • Partner with engineering, operations, and production teams to develop customized solutions.
  • Review customer specifications, drawings, and project requirements.
  • Help customers understand products, capabilities, specifications, and solutions.
  • Coordinate pricing, blanket orders, delivery schedules, and project timelines.
  • Troubleshoot customer questions and serve as the liaison between the customer and internal teams.
  • Maintain accurate account activity and customer information within HubSpot CRM and ERP systems.
  • Identify opportunities to support existing customer growth over time.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Previous experience within some kind of technical/chemical manufacturing
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • The ability to understand customer needs and coordinate solutions
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfort working with customers and cross-functional teams
  • A curious, adaptable, and eager-to-learn mindset
  • Bachelor's degree preferred

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $65,000–$80,000 base salary, depending on experience
