Marshfield Medical Center - Rice Lake is looking for a full-time CRNA-Beeper Call to join a new Anesthesia team in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. 1,720 hours per year, additional compensation for any additional hours worked and generous recruitment incentive available. 24-hour beeper call with 20-minute call-response (designated call room if needed). Call is 1:4.

Job Summary

Responsible for the administration of anesthesia. Administers anesthesia or sedation to patients undergoing a variety of surgical and non-surgical procedures. Develops and conducts pre-anesthetic plan for the patient as well as write orders before, after, and during procedures appropriately. Works with and collaborates with providers caring for the patient. Communicates with patients, family members and others on the health care team. Evaluates and orders diagnostic tests as needed. Monitors patients, including hemodynamic monitoring, using current techniques to adjust appropriately with the anesthesia plan. Ability to work with growth and development needs of all client populations.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree required from an approved and accredited educational program in specific area of advanced practice. Masters degree, Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), or Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) preferred.

Requires current unencumbered licensure to practice as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) from the State Board of Nursing in the state(s) of practice and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges as required by position. CRNA certification required and maintained through the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA). Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.

Practice Details: Marshfield Medical Center - Rice Lake is looking for a full-time CRNA-No Call to join our Anesthesia team in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. There is an annual requirement of 1,720 hours per year with additional compensation available for additional shifts worked beyond a 1.0 FTE.

Job Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school for nurse anesthetists

  • Must hold or be eligible to obtain and maintain a current State of Wisconsin Registered Nurse license or Nurse Compact License. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position

  • Receive certification through the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) prior to start date and is encouraged to be a member in good standing in the AANA

  • Must obtain and maintain appropriate privileges through the Security Health Plan credentialing process, appropriate hospital privileges or other institutions as determined and required by Clinic

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) cards required

Compensation Package: Competitive compensation package includes:

  • Annual compensation of $245,000 if you complete required number of shifts for 1.0 FTE

  • In addition, a $100,000 retention incentive to be paid if you remain a 1.0 FTE for 5 years (this will be subject to a contractual agreement specifying all details)
