Position Summary:
The School of Media & Journalism at Arkansas State University is looking for a tenure-track Assistant Professor.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the recently launched Mass Comm. degree program needed to support news outlets, including The Herald, ASU-TV News, mentoring, and thesis supervision.

Conduct research and contribute to the school's scholarly mission and productivity.

Fulfill required department, college, and university service obligations while supporting program quality, assessment, and governance, which will reduce reliance on instructors
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge and ability to teach communication across platforms and produce research and/or creative activities appropriate to the discipline.
General Days/Hours:
Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
