Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support an elementary school resource room setting. This role involves delivering individualized instruction, collaborating with staff, and supporting students with diverse learning needs to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities

Provide specialized instruction and academic support to students

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff

Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and district regulations

Support students with behavioral and learning interventions
Minimum Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)

Valid state teaching certification (required)

At least 1 year of teaching experience (preferred)

Secondary Education

LBS1 endorsement preferred

CPR certification (if applicable)

TB screening and health clearance (as required)

Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

Compensation
