Job Duties
Genesis10 is currently seeking a Financial Crimes Specialist for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Minneapolis, MN or Charlotte, NC. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity.
This position will support the Financial Crimes Analytics Monitoring and Surveillance team with control updates and publishing controls to our system of records, issue management, SharePoint access requests and tasks, and other ad hoc requests as they arise. The candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, a willingness to collaborate, and the ability to work with a variety of teams across the organization. This role requires the ability to operate independently, work with a sense of urgency, and drive results while building strong internal and external relationships.
Responsibilities:
Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Financial Crimes and contribute to large-scale planning
Review and analyze moderately complex Financial Crimes challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet deliverables
Plan and execute work independently by defining clear project scopes, establishing analytical frameworks, and prioritizing competing deliverables
Ensure all outputs are timely, accurate, and supported by thorough documentation, including maintaining audit-ready records
Manage controls, executing, and collecting evidence of controls monthly
Handle issue management and SharePoint/MS Teams site access and management
Requirements:
4 years of Financial Crimes, Operational Risk, Fraud, Sanctions, Anti-Bribery, or Corruption experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence, develop, partner with, and maintain collaborative relationships
Ability to collaborate effectively with the team and other business groups
Experience with issue management
Demonstrated ability to work with SharePoint access and manage SharePoint and MS Teams sites
Desired skills:
Experience with RCSA workshop and managing controls
Experience writing and executing controls
SharePoint management skills
Pay range: $43.13 - $51.13 per hour
