Full job description

Hours:  6.0 hours (approx. 9-330) could vary slightly  Class: III Starting rate of pay: $24.83 per hour Administrative Professional and Paraprofessional Contract

Position Description: The person in this position will be responsible for providing behavioral support during the school day, and may also include lunch/recess supervision when necessary. Duties include small group work, assisting students who demonstrate a need for social/emotional/behavior support, active supervision of students in the cafeteria and on the playground, etc. This position will be under the direction of the Principal and Student Support Specialist.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with young children, preferably in a school environment
  • Ability to take direction
  • Ability to multitask and supervise students in an environment that is highly engaging
  • Flexibility and patience
