Associated Bank is seeking a Loan Administrator - CRE to coordinate the successful closing and funding of commercial real estate and construction lending transactions. In this role, you will partner with borrowers, relationship managers, attorneys, and banking partners to move deals efficiently from due diligence through booking. You'll gain exposure to complex transactions while developing deep expertise in commercial real estate lending and loan administration.

Key Accountabilities

Manage the end-to-end closing process for commercial real estate and construction loans, ensuring transactions close accurately and on schedule.

Coordinate borrowers, legal counsel, title companies, syndication partners, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and meet closing requirements.

Review due diligence, insurance documentation, loan documents, and closing conditions to ensure compliance and completeness.

Prepare settlement statements, facilitate funding activities, and oversee the disbursement of loan proceeds.

Support syndicated transactions by managing member bank requirements, funding timelines, and documentation activities.

Monitor post-closing deliverables, clear documentation exceptions, and maintain complete and accurate loan files.

Maintain data integrity across lending and customer relationship management systems.

Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, internal policies, and loan administration standards.

Education & Experience

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

3+ years of customer service experience in a professional office environment.

3+ years of experience in commercial lending, commercial real estate finance, legal documentation, accounting, or loan administration.

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.

Working knowledge of commercial loan documentation, due diligence requirements, and banking processes.

Preferred

3+ years of experience in construction loan monitoring and/or commercial loan closing.

3+ years of experience reviewing and analyzing credit and loan documentation.

3+ years of experience reviewing commercial real estate due diligence materials.

Knowledge of commercial real estate documentation, title practices, state lien laws, and syndicated lending transactions.
