Summary:

The purpose of this position is to independently function and operate medical equipment to record sleep/wake physiology.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education
-
High school graduate required. Continuing education in sleep diagnostics is required per state regulations.

Experience
-
3 months sleep experience required. Able to independently perform polysomnography and multiple sleep latency tests without supervision.

Computer Skills
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office, email and basic computer skills for other software used throughout the hospital for your area of responsibility.

Extensive knowledge of sleep diagnostic testing process, basic computer skills, phone and customer service skills.

Certificates & Licenses

Active Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) is required.

Other Requirements

Interact with physicians, clinical/clerical staff, and patients/families. This position requires constant sitting, lifting and carrying 0–10 lbs, as well as, frequent standing, walking, use of hands and fingers, reaching outward, reaching above shoulder, squatting, kneeling, bending, lifting 11–50 lbs and pushing and pulling 0–40 lbs.
