Job Duties
Oversee landscape construction projects from scheduling to final completion, ensuring all phases are executed according to plan and scope.
Review job plans, designs, estimates, materials, labor budgets, and project requirements prior to project start.
Coordinate crews, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and deliveries to maintain project timelines.
Provide clear direction to Crew Leads and hold teams accountable for meeting project expectations.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor quality, productivity, safety, and progress.
Track budgeted versus actual man-hours and proactively address any discrepancies.
Review daily Crew Lead notes to identify and resolve issues early.
Communicate and document customer changes, material shortages, site conditions, and additional work as needed.
Maintain professional communication with customers throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with the Designer/Estimator and Operations team to address field changes or challenges.
Ensure all work meets approved designs and project scope, performing quality-control inspections throughout construction.
Complete final project walkthroughs and ensure punch-list items are addressed promptly.
Submit project completion documentation, including receipts, photos, and required paperwork.
Support the development of Crew Leads and contribute to the overall performance of the landscape department.
Maintain an organized, professional, and safe working environment.
