Job Responsibilities:
The district is seeking a passionate and dedicated coach to lead and mentor student-athletes. The assistant coach will be responsible for fostering a positive team culture, promoting skill development, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all players.
Stipend: $4,393 (2026-27 school year stipend)
Qualifications for this position:
- Must have or be able to obtain an Iowa Coaching license.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement effective practice plans that enhance skill development and teamwork.

Provide mentorship and guidance to student-athletes, supporting their academic and personal growth.

Promote sportsmanship, discipline, and leadership on and off the field/court.

Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all team members.

Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and families to support student success.

Follow all district, state, and league regulations and policies.

Coordinate game schedules, travel arrangements, and equipment needs.
