Job Title: Landscaping Laborer - Oak Hall, VA
Job Description
Join our team as a laborer supporting operations and maintenance projects on a site in Oak Hall, VA. Work will include vegetation maintenance on already built solar farms.
Responsibilities

Support operations and maintenance functions on solar farms.

Perform vegetation maintenance tasks.

Walk in rough terrain continuously throughout the day.

Lift and carry up to 25 pounds continuously.

Follow written instructions effectively.

Work outdoors in hot and/or wet conditions for extended durations.

Work 10-12 hour shifts as needed.
Essential Skills
-
1+ years of construction experience.
-
Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
-
OSHA 10 Construction Safety certification.

Dependable transportation to the site.

Ability to work in all weather conditions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
-
Experience with machine operation (e.g., skid steer, rough terrain forklift, tractor) is advantageous.

Valid driver's license is required.

Strong attendance and communication skills are essential.

Work Environment
Work a standard 40-hour week, typically Monday through Thursday with a possible Friday shift for makeup work. Start daily at 7 AM with three breaks and a morning safety talk. Work outdoors on active solar projects with appropriate outdoor clothing and steel-toed boots. Occasional overnight travel is required, approximately once a month.

This is a Contract position based out of Oak Hall, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
