Full job description
Our client, a leading organization in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, is seeking a Packaging Technician to join their team. As a Packaging Technician, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting the Packaging and Labeling team. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong manual dexterity, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Packaging Technician
Location: Mount Prospect, IL
Pay Range: $19
Shift: First Shift (Tuesday - Friday, 5:00 am to 3:30 pm)
What's the Job?

Labels, assembles, and packages pharmaceutical products.

Performs manual or automated filling and packaging of blistered and bottled pharmaceutical products.

Accurately counts and prepares packaging components to ensure proper accountability before and after each job.

Ensures quality and productivity standards are consistently met.

Maintains cleanliness of packaging rooms and machinery following SOPs and cGMPs.
What's Needed?
-
High school diploma or equivalent required.
-
At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment.

Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.

Strong hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and attention to detail.

Ability to work in cold environments (-8°C and -20°C) and meet physical requirements such as standing, lifting, and bending.
