Job Summary:

As a Mammographer, you make a significant difference in advancing women’s health.

You will conduct mammographic imaging procedures essential for the early detection and diagnosis of conditions related to the breast. You will use proper radiation protection, accessory devices, and age-appropriate immobilizers to produce high-quality radiographic images.

In this role, you must maintain all MQSA requirements. You will also assist in training and evaluating new radiology associates and students.

REQUIREMENTS

  • ​Completed formal radiologic technology training at an AMA approved school or a school that is accredited through the Higher Learning Commission (HLC).

  • Must be registered by the ARRT and in mammography. If registry eligible, must pass registry within one year of accepting the position. If working in more than one modality and registry eligible, must pass registry within one year of accepting additional responsibilities.

  • Current CPR
