Permanent Placement Role: Asset Management Analyst, Origination Compensation: Up to 180,000 salary + Equity and Bonus, commensurate with experience Location: New York City, on-site Company Description: Our Client is an industrial-scale data center construction and operations company. They allocate data center opportunities between bitcoin mining and other high performance computing services, such as AI. They continue to develop their pipeline of power capacity at high-quality data center sites, either for bitcoin mining or HPC. Position Description: The Asset Management Analyst, Origination supports the front end of Our Client's asset lifecycle — land and parcel diligence, entitlements, and technical and environmental feasibility. The role maintains front-end pipeline visibility and supports site selection and acquisition decisions. Responsibilities:

Support parcel diligence and option / lease-to-own evaluation.

Coordinate technical and environmental studies as part of site feasibility.

Support front-end origination alongside Business Development and Legal, providing operational context for due diligence and feasibility.

Track entitlements and permitting across the portfolio and pipeline.

Monitor diligence timelines and flag risks to critical-path items (studies, approvals, permits).
-
Maintain organized diligence records, checklists, and per-site data repositories.

Flag power and interconnection considerations and communicate action items to responsible teams.
-
Package diligence findings into a site summary for review and origination decisions.

Support handoff from origination into development as a site advances.
Qualifications:
Required:
-
2–4 years in in real estate development, infrastructure, energy, or transactional diligence.

Hands-on diligence experience — title, survey, zoning, environmental, or entitlement review.

Comfort coordinating third-party studies and consultants for the land and entitlement processes and technical and environmental studies.

Able to track timelines across multiple sites and flag critical-path risks proactively.

Clear written communication — can package diligence findings into a concise site summary for decision-makers.
Preferred:

Data center development exposure specifically.

Experience across a multi-site portfolio or pipeline, rather than a single-asset.
Scope/Boundaries:

Owns: front-end diligence execution and feasibility coordination — parcel and site diligence, technical and environmental studies, entitlements and permitting tracking, diligence records and per-site repositories, and the site-summary packaging that moves a site toward development-readiness.

Partners with: Business Development, Legal and land consultants.

Does not own: Deal negotiations, financial models or underwriting, power and interconnection (flags and routes, does not own).
