🧠 Michigan Licensed Mental Health Therapist (Part-Time) 📍 Remote | Michigan License Required
Help Expand Access to Mental Healthcare Across Michigan 💙🎒 Backpack Healthcare is growing in Michigan, and we're looking for compassionate, dedicated therapists who want to make a meaningful impact while enjoying the flexibility of working from home.
We provide high-quality virtual mental health services to children, adolescents, and young adults, making care more accessible for families across the state. As a clinician-led, minority-owned organization, we're committed to supporting both our clients and the therapists who care for them.

🌟 What You'll Do You'll provide 15–22 telehealth sessions per week , delivering individual and family therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults throughout Michigan .
Most clinicians see clients during weekday afternoons and evenings ( 2:00–9:00 PM EST ), with weekend availability welcomed. You create your schedule—we provide the referrals, administrative support, billing, and credentialing.
Your day-to-day includes:
🩺 Conducting comprehensive behavioral health assessments
📝 Developing individualized, trauma-informed treatment plans
💻 Providing evidence-based individual and family therapy via secure telehealth
🤝 Collaborating with our interdisciplinary care team, including therapists, PMHNPs, psychiatrists, and care coordinators
📋 Completing timely, accurate clinical documentation within our electronic health record (EHR)
👨👩👧 Supporting families through education, collaboration, and coordinated care
💼 What We Offer 💲 $60 per billable hour for independently licensed clinicians

✅ What We're Looking For We're seeking clinicians who have:
✔️ An active Michigan independent license (LPC, LMSW, or LMFT)
✔️ Experience working with children, adolescents, and families—or a passion for serving this population
✔️ The ability to work independently in a virtual environment
✔️ A commitment to trauma-informed, culturally responsive care
⭐ Bilingual (English/Spanish) clinicians are strongly encouraged to apply.
