How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Design personalized respiratory care plans, utilizing advanced clinical modalities to ensure every patient receives targeted, effective treatment tailored to their specific diagnosis.

  • Monitor patient progress and clinical outcomes continuously, proactively adjusting treatment interventions and medication administration to ensure patient stability and recovery.

  • Lead rapid response efforts during cardiopulmonary emergencies, delivering critical, life-saving interventions as an active member of the resuscitation team to stabilize acute patient crises.

  • Empower patients and families by providing clear, compassionate education on their health conditions, fostering the confidence and clarity needed for a successful transition to self-management.

  • Ensure seamless clinical operations by maintaining the precision, cleanliness, and readiness of all respiratory equipment, guaranteeing immediate availability for every patient’s needs.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

  • Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

  • Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

  • Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
