Description
Dental Assisting Instructor
Location: Lehi, UT
Status: Part-time
Hours: Monday –Frid ay; 6:00 p.m. –9 :00 p.m.
Pay / Salary: $24.09/Hour

What You'll Do:
Responsibilities of the Dental Assisting Instructor include, but are not limited to:

Deliver interactive and engaging lessons with a strong focus on hands-on, skill-based competency training.

Create and/or update lesson plans for both classroom and lab activities.

Manage and supervise students during classroom instruction and practical training.
-
Assess student progress through written, oral, practical, and performance evaluations.
-
Foster a student-centered learning environment while maintaining a positive and effective classroom atmosphere. Inspect equipment daily for safety, ensuring proper maintenance and repairs as needed.

Keep accurate and up-to-date records of student performance, attendance, and accountability.
What We're Looking For:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Graduation from an accredited Dental Assisting program with a valid certificate of completion.

At least 5 years of professional experience in dental assisting.

Prior teaching experience is preferred.

DANB National Certification as a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA).
