A little about the position:
Job Summary
The Quality Lead performs inspections and initiates non-conforming material reports. Oversees the quality inspection process. Performs internal processes/recording audits to confirm compliance with quality and process standards. Starting pay is $22 an hour.
Some of What You Will Do:

Work with supervisors to ensure employees are using correct production methods and equipment is operating properly to produce quality products.

Communicate with supervisor in regard to product that is out of spec or defective.

Apply corrective actions when defects found and replace tooling when needed.

Perform and report inspections on incoming and outgoing materials.

Maintain working relationship with all supervisors, customer service and production employees as a team player.

Maintain all instructions, records, equipment and samples pertaining to inspection, test and audit procedures, techniques, etc.

Assist in the development/improvement of inspection processes and techniques.

Provide above information and materials to guide supervisors in assuring operators are producing quality products.

Develop work instructions.

Responsible for timely reporting of information.

Other duties as assigned.
What You Bring to the Table: (Qualifications)

Minimum of High School Diploma or GED; 2 year technical/associate degree preferred.

5 years’ experience in manufacturing/quality control preferred.

Must be able to work overtime as required.

Computer and keyboarding skills. (Microsoft Office Suite)

Must be able to work overtime when necessary.

Good interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal.
