Job Description
Provide medical oversight for psychiatric services, including mental health, substance use and co-occurring populations. Participate in treatment planning for individuals receiving services. Supervise and coordinate the provision of psychiatric services by the center. Leads quarterly prescriber meetings and participates in regular peer reviews, case presentations, and other clinical quality improvement activities to promote evidence-based practice and high-quality patient care. Provide consultation to psychiatrists, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff as needed. Support quality assurance, accreditation, and regulatory compliance activities. Collaborate with agency leadership regarding psychiatric service delivery. This position is designed to complement our experienced team of psychiatric advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs) by providing physician-level expertise for the individuals and situations that benefit most from psychiatric consultation. EOE/M/F/D/V/SO. The Adanta Group, a contractor with The Department of Community based Services, provides behavioral / residential services with state and federal funds.
