Full job description

Job Title: Commercial Painter

Pay- 23-30/hr

Job Description

This role focuses on providing high-quality painting services for new construction projects throughout the Lancaster area. You will mix paints, prepare job sites, and apply paint using spraying, rolling, and cutting techniques to deliver a professional finish on commercial and residential builds.

Responsibilities

  • Mix paints to achieve the correct color, consistency, and finish for each project

  • Prepare surfaces and work areas thoroughly, including cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming as needed

  • Set up and maintain painting equipment, including spray guns, rollers, and brushes

  • Apply paint using spraying techniques to large surfaces and detailed areas in new construction builds

  • Perform rolling and cutting work to ensure clean lines, even coverage, and a high-quality appearance

  • Inspect completed work to verify proper coverage, color accuracy, and adherence to quality standards

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout each project

  • Work efficiently on multiple construction projects within the Lancaster area while meeting deadlines

  • Collaborate with other trades and site personnel to coordinate work and minimize disruptions

Essential Skills

  • At least 10 years of experience in commercial or residential painting

  • Strong proficiency with spray painting techniques, including use of spray guns

  • Demonstrated experience with rolling and cutting for clean, professional finishes

  • Hands-on experience with paint preparation, including surface prep and masking

  • Ability to mix paints accurately to meet project specifications

  • Knowledge of proper use and maintenance of painting tools and equipment

  • Ability to work full-time, approximately 40 hours per week, on local projects within about one hour of Lancaster

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
