Job Description

Job Overview

Label Graphics is currently seeking a seamer/seamstress. We aim to invest in long-term employees who prioritize stability.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and fully understand the Slitter, Seamer, Rewinder, and Dye Cutter.

  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of updated quality procedures related to shrink sleeve equipment.

  • Verify job information and the accuracy of sleeves.

  • Effectively communicate any quality issues to the supervisor.

  • Inspect and prepare sleeves according to customer specifications.

  • Exhibit flexibility to operate shrink equipment as needed.

  • Adhere to all plant and corporate safety rules, procedures, and guidelines.

  • Report all safety concerns or issues to the immediate supervisor.

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Experience in printing, particularly with shrink sleeve finishing equipment or label finishing equipment, is preferred (e.g., shrink sleeve inspector/rewinder, shrink sleeve cutter, label slitter/rewinder).

  • Ability to multitask in a high-volume, fast-paced environment to meet shipping deadlines.

  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

  • Strong basic math skills.
