Our client, a leader in financial services, is seeking a Senior AI Developer Tech Lead to join their team. As a Senior AI Developer Tech Lead, you will be part of the AI Innovation Department supporting engineering teams focused on cutting-edge AI solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, innovative thinking, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Lead the development and implementation of AI-focused workflows across the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Design and architect scalable AI systems from scratch in greenfield environments, ensuring robust and efficient solutions.

• Mentor and groom junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

• Utilize AI assistance tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code to streamline development tasks and improve code quality.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate low-level design artifacts into structured specifications that guide AI-assisted development.

What's Needed?

• Extensive experience (12+ years) in large-scale software engineering, particularly with Java, Spring, cloud development, and Web Services supporting high-volume transactions.

• Hands-on experience (2+ years) with AI/ML implementation and deployment in production environments.

• Proficiency in containerization and microservices architecture, with at least 6 years of experience in cloud deployment and CI/CD practices.

• Strong familiarity with databases such as MongoDB, Aerospike, or PostgreSQL, and experience with large language models like GPT-5, Claude, Gemini, or PaLM.

• Proven leadership experience as a Tech Lead or Team Lead, with the ability to mentor and guide engineering teams effectively.
