Commercial HVAC Service Technician
Location: North Andover, MA

Pay: $115,000–$125,000 per year

What You'll Do

Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment

Service rooftop units (RTUs), walk-in coolers, walk-in freezers, ice machines, display cases, and refrigeration systems

Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using wiring diagrams, multimeters, and manufacturer specifications

Recover, recycle, and recharge refrigerants in compliance with EPA regulations

Repair and replace compressors, condensers, evaporators, expansion valves (TXVs), EPR valves, and related components
-
Read blueprints, piping diagrams, and equipment schematics

Complete service documentation accurately and communicate findings with customers

Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment
What We're Looking For

5–7 years of commercial HVAC/R service experience or a 2-year HVAC/R technical degree with relevant field experience

EPA Section 608 Certification (Type I, II, or Universal required)

OSHA 10 Certification

Hot Work Certification

High school diploma plus completion of a vocational or technical HVAC/R program

State or municipal refrigeration/mechanical license where required

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

Experience servicing commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment

Ability to work independently and provide outstanding customer service
