Full job description
Our client, a leader in manufacturing and safety equipment, is seeking a Repair Technician to join their team. As a Repair Technician, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the Repair and Inspection team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Repair Technician
Location: Red Wing, Minnesota (100% onsite)
Pay Range: $20 to $25 p/h on W-2
Duration: 12 month contract
Shift: 6 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday
What's the Job?

Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair customer-owned fall protection equipment returning from the field

Visually examine devices for damage and dismantle equipment to access internal components

Operate metalworking tools to repair or fabricate parts as needed

Create work orders, document parts used, and estimate repair costs
-
Support continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate with team members across product lines
What's Needed?
-
Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing, mechanical repair, or maintenance environments
-
Experience using blueprints, schematics, and repair diagrams for troubleshooting and assembly
-
Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools and repair processes
-
Ability to work independently and support team needs within assigned product lines

High school diploma or GED
